Animal Crochet Blanket Patterns

Fancy a blanket with a face? This is our whole menagerie in one place: every animal crochet blanket pattern we've designed, from Hamish the Highland Cow and Danny Duck to Liam Lion, Charlie Crocodile and a pack of very good dogs. Each creature is built from raised bobbles, so ears, snouts and spots stand proud of the blanket and practically beg to be booped.

A crochet animal blanket is one of the most loved handmade gifts there is. It makes a newborn's first friend, a birthday surprise for a little one who's mad about elephants, or a sofa throw for the grown-up who never outgrew their favourite creature. Got a habitat in mind? Our farm animal blanket patterns keep things barnyard-cozy, while the safari and jungle collection brings out the wild side. Making for a nursery? Pop over to our baby blanket crochet patterns for gentle, cuddle-ready designs.

You don't need to be an expert to bring these characters to life. Every pattern includes UK and US terms, written row-by-row counts, a full colour chart showing exactly where each bobble sits, two border options and an instant PDF download, so your new animal friend is only a few rows away.

Fair warning: these critters tend to get named before they're finished.
